WE'LL PROMOTE WHEN WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS
Sustainability
We place an enormous emphasis on food sustainability. Avoiding single-use materials from sourcing to delivery:
1) Sourcing
-
We use local and seasonal fruits and veggies.

-
We buy as much as we can in bulk using BYO reusable bags, glass jars and our own containers.

-
We work with supplies to avoid plastic bags.

-
We have chosen only those suppliers who accept our containers back.
2) Cooking
-
All our food is cooked and prepared with minimal single-use packaging.

-
We prepare our own plant milks from raw nuts and use sticky reusable mats to replace baking paper.

-
We also use reusable piping bags, oil bottles and containers with lids to avoid using cling wrap.

-
We don’t deep fry to minimise using large amounts of oil which are difficult to recycle.
3) Serving
-
Our meals are presented, served and enjoyed at your event using all reusable tableware and cutlery.

-
Our tables are designed for finger food, but in the case of more substantial meals, we propose hiring dishes and glassware from our partners. When these options are not possible, we offer crockery made from bamboo and corn starch, which are compostable.

-
We encourage loose leaf tea instead of tea bags and juice glass bottles are returned to our supplier where they are sanitised and reused.
4) Waste
-
We do our best to contribute to neutral to zero waste generation to landfills and we are proud of the effort we do in order to get closer to this goal.

-
Any leftover food scraps are composted and turned into nutrient dense organic material which is cycled back into the soil.

-
We have visited recycling centres to upskill and learn on best practices based on where we live. Waste segregation is a must in our kitchen: from commonly-known recyclables and metals to soft plastics, aluminium, plastic lids, and more.
5) Cleaning
-
Our kitchen is chemical-free.

-
We use only natural and eco-friendly cleaning and sanitizer products.

-
Yes, we buy those in bulk as well and in reusable containers.

-
We wash our tablecloths, cheese cloth, kitchen chux, kitchen towels and uniforms using natural nut soaps.
6) Delivery
-
Logistic optimisation is a matter of impact to the environment first, then a cost.

-
We make sure to have numerous orders in place to minimise the burning of fossil fuels.

-
It is within our scope to buy an electric van to reduce our carbon footprint.

-
Our boxes are re-usable, recyclable and compostable.
